Six sectors where this model actually fits.
We are not a generalist agency taking whatever arrives. Our thirteen services suit businesses that win work through enquiries, where the value of a customer justifies specialist work across paid media, search, the website and the follow-up behind them. Below is where that is true, what tends to go wrong in each sector, and where we are the wrong choice.

The enquiry is the product, and most of them are lost after they arrive.
In every sector on this page the marketing spend is rarely the weakest link. The enquiry gets generated, then waits in an inbox, or reaches a member of staff already with a customer, or receives one reply and no second attempt. By the time anyone follows up, the prospect has booked with somebody else.
That is why the audit begins at the point of contact and works backwards. If the response, the tracking and the follow-up are not in order, additional advertising simply buys a larger version of the same loss.
The other thing these sectors share is the value of a single customer. A booked job, a new patient, an instructed matter or a listing is worth enough that specialist work on each channel is defensible arithmetic rather than a luxury.
What we look for before saying yes
- Enquiries are how the business wins work
- A customer is worth more than the cost of acquiring several
- Someone can answer enquiries in reasonable time
- There is capacity to serve additional demand
- The engagement is ongoing rather than a single project
- A named decision-maker can approve work
Where we work
Six sectors, and what goes wrong in each.
Each note below describes the specific way enquiries are lost, the services that matter most, and the thing about the vertical that agencies tend not to mention on a sales call.
01 · Home services & trades
Plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electrical
Demand is urgent and comparison is immediate. A caller with a leak works down the search results until somebody answers, so a missed call is not a delayed job, it is a job that went to a competitor within minutes. Evening and weekend form fills are the other leak: they sit unread until the next working morning, by which point the work is already booked elsewhere.
The services that carry this sector:
- Google Business Profile — the map pack decides a large share of local demand
- Paid search — high-intent terms at the moment of need
- AI voice & chat agents — so the out-of-hours call is answered and booked
02 · Dental & medical practices
Private dental, aesthetics, clinics
Enquiries are lost at the booking step. Someone asks about implants or a consultation, the front desk is with a patient in the chair, and the reply comes hours later without a time offered. Higher-value treatments need several touches before anyone commits, and most practices have no structured follow-up beyond a single email. Existing patient lists go unworked entirely.
The services that carry this sector:
- Paid search — treatment-level intent, not brand awareness
- Conversion optimisation — treatment pages and booking flows that finish
- CRM & GoHighLevel — follow-up, recall and reactivation held in one system
03 · Legal firms
Solicitors and law firms
Two failures repeat. The first is intake: a serious matter and an unqualified query are treated identically, so fee earners spend their attention in the wrong place and good enquiries cool while they wait. The second is timing — legal problems surface at night and at weekends, and the firm that answers first is usually the firm instructed.
The services that carry this sector:
- Paid search — practice-area terms, tightly qualified
- SEO — the durable position under expensive auctions
- Conversion optimisation — intake forms that sort matters properly
04 · Professional services
Accountants and consultants
Enquiries arrive long before anyone is ready to appoint. A prospect reads, requests something, receives one reply and is never contacted again, and the firm concludes the channel does not work. Referral-led practices have the opposite problem: work arrives with no record of where it came from, so nobody can tell which effort is producing it.
The services that carry this sector:
- SEO — visibility on the questions clients research first
- AI search optimisation — being cited when the research happens in an assistant
- Marketing automation — follow-up that survives a six-month decision
05 · Real estate
Agencies, brokers and property firms
Portal and advertising enquiries land in a shared inbox that belongs to nobody in particular. Valuation requests come in during the evening and are returned two days later. Vendors who were not ready to move this month are never contacted again, even though the decision usually arrives within the year and goes to whoever is still in front of them.
The services that carry this sector:
- CRM & GoHighLevel — one pipeline, owned, with nothing sitting unassigned
- AI voice & chat agents — valuation enquiries answered and booked out of hours
- Paid social — vendor and landlord demand created rather than waited for
06 · Marketing agencies
White-label delivery for agencies
The loss here is not enquiries, it is capacity. Agencies win an account they cannot staff, delivery stretches across people already at their limit, and the account leaves nine months later for reasons everyone could see coming. Freelance cover solves it briefly and then disappears mid-campaign, taking the account knowledge with it.
The services agencies most often hand over:
- Paid search and paid social — day-to-day management under your brand
- CRM & GoHighLevel — builds your team does not want to own
- Web design & development — production capacity without a hire
Where we are a poor fit
We decline more enquiries than we accept.
Regulated financial promotions are the clearest example. Consumer credit, investments, insurance and mortgage advertising require approval and compliance supervision we are not authorised to provide, and an agency that treats those rules as an inconvenience creates a problem far more expensive than the campaign. We do not take that work.
The second is the single project with nobody to run it afterwards. A site or a campaign build handed over and left unmanaged decays quickly, and we would rather not sell something we know will underperform. Our model is continuous specialist work month after month; it does not compress into a one-off.
We also step back where the constraint is not marketing at all. If the pricing does not support the cost of acquisition, or the business is already at capacity, more enquiries make the situation worse rather than better. That is a conversation we would rather have on the audit call than three months into an engagement.
Not sure which side you fall on?
The audit is the answer either way. Thirty minutes, no obligation, and a written plan you keep whether or not you engage us.
If your sector is not listed above, it does not automatically mean no. It means we will look at whether the same conditions hold — enquiry-led work, sufficient customer value, and someone able to act on what we produce — and tell you honestly what we find.
